QGSA SCHOLARSHIP
Deadline: January 15, 2026
You have until January 15, 2026, to submit your scholarship application.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- The application must be received before January 15.
- Must include proof of enrollment in an eligible course.
- All required documents must be completed.
- Must be enrolled in a recognized program and provide proof.
- Being a member of the ASGQ or sponsored by a member in good standing is an asset.
SELECTION
- A selection committee appointed by the ASGQ Board of Directors will make its recommendations.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
- The scholarship amount is $1,500.
Note: If the program extends over more than one year, a second scholarship application may be submitted.
ELIGIBLE COURSES AND PROGRAMS
Including but not limited to:
• Any field of study in agronomy or turfgrass science
• Golf course management
• ASGQ programmme de relève
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
- Assistant golf course superintendent
- Golf course maintenance employee with at least two seasons of experience
HOW TO APPLY
- Include the following documents:
• Curriculum vitae
• Letter of reference from your current employer (golf club) supporting your application
• A letter outlining your career goals for the next five years in the golf industry
• Proof of acceptance from the educational institution
• Any other relevant supporting documents
Note: The ASGQ Board of Directors or selection committee reserves the right to verify information provided.
ANNOUNCEMENT
- The recipient will be announced in February 2026.
- The scholarship will be awarded during the annual conference gala evening in March.
