Want to become a superintendent or assistant superintendent?

There are different ways to start your new career. Here is a traditional career path taken by many superintendents who have joined the QGSA in recent years:

Start out as a course worker at a golf club where the superintendent is a QGSA member.
Ask your superintendent questions about his work and find out whether you’re really interested.
Give yourself the tools you need to progress professionally by enrolling in various teaching institutions and continuing QGSA training courses.
Apply for a QGSA bursary through the superintendent at your golf course.
Join the QGSA and take advantage of professional development opportunities, access to trade journals and documentation available in the website section reserved for members.
